20 Years of Hope: Together, We Thrive
For over two decades, Garden of Hope has walked alongside survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking—offering safety, healing, and a path forward. Founded in 2004 to serve the growing Chinese immigrant community in the New York City area, Garden of Hope has become a lifeline for thousands of families facing crisis, fear, and isolation.
As we celebrate our 21st Annual Gala, we reflect on the strength of the survivors we serve and the community that has stood with us through every step. This year’s theme, “Flourish,” honors the resilience of those who have not only survived but are now thriving—reclaiming their dignity, rebuilding their lives, and inspiring others along the way.
With your support, we aim to raise $750,000 to expand our free, confidential services and continue breaking down cultural, language, and socioeconomic barriers that keep so many from getting the help they need. Together, we don’t just offer hope—we help it grow.
